Kathy Cooke

Kathy Cooke has lived in Bradenton since 2005, the year she became a member of Manatee LIFE Church and assumed the position of Assistant to the Pastor.  Kathy is an Air Force Brat who spent most of her early years in Fort Worth, Texas.  She is the mother of two sons.  Kathy attended college in Fort Worth and also attended the Perkins School Of Theology in Dallas, Texas.  Kathy works in the Manatee County School System as a School Crossing Guard.  She is active with the Suncoast Walk to Emmaus and volunteers at First United Method Church, Palmetto, working in the Food Pantry.  Her hobbies are gardening and cooking.  Kathy has been married to Jim Cooke since 2009.  Together they have 4 Grandsons, 1 Great Grandson and 1 Great Granddaughter. Effective October 2024, Kathy was appointed Director of Ministries reflecting her leadership of the church’s various outreach missions.
